Saris I got this idea from Harper's posts. If you want something to just buy and install, the system below works awesome. I ended up buying the saris traps from Jenson USA and screwing them into some aluminum channel 30" long. I have to remove my seat post but I love this system so far...

I noticed some popping too. Crutchfield suggests the 600hz-800hz cut-off frequency blockers for the 3.5" speakers. Would there be a downside to using the 600hz versus the 150hz? Also, the kappas are supposed to have a "user adjustable tweeter level control" to "add or subtract 3dB output."...

I just wanted to say a quick THANKS for all the detailed write-ups on here! I installed my El Grandes this weekend in the same location as TitanPat. I tried to get away with only installing one of the horns, in the stock location, and not having to rig up a harness, since it was all new to me...

Just installed the kappas over the weekend. Definitely a big difference, especially when cranked up! I made the mistake of answering a call via bluetooth without adjusting the volume first, I nearly jumped from my seat when the person on the other line spoke. I had to turn it down to level 3...

For what its worth, I test drove two camrys over the weekend and noticed the same burning smell while walking behind the vehicles after driving them. I was going to ask the salesman about it, but I wouldn't have believed anything he would have said anyways.
