An update:
I drove again with the read armrest down, and while the cupholder doesn't make noise ALL the time now, it still occasionally rattles on larger bumps.
Oh well... guess I'll just leave it up. Most of the time the seats are down with our dog in the back anyway! :D
I find that using a vacuum cleaner that has an upholstery brush attachment works well. I very lightly use the brush on the surfaces to loosen the dust and the vacuum picks it up. I find this works real well for all the little crevices in your car (like those little square recesses that label...
I just had this TSB done on my 03 V6 Limited. We didn't notice the rattle because we rarely drive with the rear armrest down. But, one time it was down and the cupholders inside were rattling with every little bump.
The TSB replaces the entire armrest assembly, but I think what they did is...
Trailer Harness
Sorry for being a little late on this topic... when I purchased my 03 Limited, the dealer gave me an optional trailer wiring harness with instructions on how to install it. I would ask them if they can get you one for free.
We have had no probelms with our 2nd row seats being "loose"... and we have leather which has even less friction between butt portion and back portion. :D
