Got my new skids installed tonight ! Rci engine / trans / transfer combo. Picked up the a arm skids also but appears maybe I got the wrong hardware as the rear through bolts aren’t long enough. Other than that slight hiccup everything fits perfectly !
I have a Phoenix gold battery isolator laying around and hoping I can use it to charge my trailer battery while driving. I don’t remember what vehicle I took it out of but it is a 4 post isolator. 3 main lugs ( one in 2 out ) and an ‘exciter ‘ small post. Will this be compatible with the factory...
Thanks for the info. I definitely am curious and will sort through the posts. It did not do this prior to the clutch replacement. Original clutch lasted me 220k. Guess I will start with inspecting the slave and external components again closer. I will post findings.
So I replaced clutch not long ago with complete Marlin set up. New pressure plate , flywheel , disc, throw out bearing , etc. Operation and feel have been great other than I get a distinct noise and slight vibration in the clutch pedal when depressed ONLY above 3500 rpm when shifting. Absolutely...

Finally got a little air underneath the old girl! Had to lose the light bar i had up on the roof rack in order to get it in the garage, but that light was crap anyway.

Starter contacts will cause the intermittent no start/ click when they are worn. I imagine that once worn that they could also cause the starter solenoid plunger to stick due to higher amperage draw. Could be the plunger is worn/ dirty and sticking causing the starter run on ( your noise ) also...
Just pull the front shaft. No need to put in 4wd as your just going to be in 2wd anyway with no front shaft. Only time you would need to put in 4wd is if you pulled the rear shaft out, or broke it or something. Unless I'm missing something here it should be pretty straight forward.
