    KDSS vs Non-KDSS?

Believe what you want to believe. I've done a side by side comparison with a measuring tape and the front skid on my buddies Trail w/ KDSS does sit about 1" lower that on my SR5 (when both vehicles had stock suspension). The front skid also sits slightly more forward. By the way, your pictures...

    2016 SR5 4WD with Grind/Moan Vibration

I noticed a strange noise a while back while in reverse. Turns out it was mud stuck to my drive shaft. Once I gave the truck a nice bath, no more strange noises. Get under there and give it a good pressure washing and see if that helps.

    KDSS vs Non-KDSS?

KDSS reduces your ground clearance by about 1". A friend of mine who I wheel with has a trail w/ KDSS and he is getting rid of it because of the ground clearance issues. If you dont go offroad, the KDSS will probably be a benefit, but its actually a limiting factor out in the dirt.

anyone retrofit OEM electronic rear diff locker on a SR5?

I researched this as well. What I found (somewhere in this forum) is that the T4Rs with a rear e-locker use a different rear axle/diff. So, the OEM e-locker requires a full diff swap. Its not as easy as just installing the locker. Based on what I've read, most folks who decide to diff lock an...

Seeking input on Slider Brand--Shrock vs. SSO

I have the shrockworks sliders with the top plating. They are great. They look good and function well as a step for the kids and to access the roof rack, etc. I've had more than a few hard impacts on rocks with them and they're solid. They are there to take damage. Any set of sliders you choose...

Total Vehicle Height- Gobi Stealth,Icon Lift and 285 70 17. Will it fit in garage?

FWIW...I don’t have any rubbing with my Icon lift and 285/70 BFG KO2s. And the truck fits in the garage and most parking garages. My total height is approx 6’10”.

Which Mods to Do First? 5th gen SR5

I have the full RCI skids and there are places to access drain plugs, etc without the need to remove them. I think most of the other brands of skids are the same in this regard.

Anyone else ever have GPS freeze and reset itself?

Yes. Has happened to mine a few times. Its rare, so I haven't done anything to address it. I'm interested to see what the dealer tells you.

Rear Differential Breather Mod For Dummies

The front diff and transmission/transfer case breathers are already routed up inside the engine bay from the factory. The rear diff breather (and e-locker; if applicable) do need to be modded if any deep water crossing is going to be done. I took a stock 2015 SR5 through a fairly deep water...

    5th Gen Spotted Thread

Yep, I'm in French Valley, although I have factory bumpers. You did say it was a pro or trail. I have a SR5 with the SR5 badges removed. I checked out your build thread and really like what you've done with yours. Cheers!

Load Range C vs Load Range E rated tires

I went from stock duelers to BFG KO2 285/70 Load Range E. I had an Icon suspension lift installed at the same time as the BFGs. In my experience, going from stock everything to icon suspension and BFG load range e tires, the ride quality, cornering and overall feel were all improved. You also...

    Shrockworks Step-Slider

I did drill one hole on the front passenger side. The instructions said it was optional. In my case, about half of the holes aren't threaded, so I used the provided stick nuts and fished them in.
