I have an 06 V8 SE, I drove my friend's recently lifted GX470 last weekend.... HOLY COW!!! Can confirm I need this upgrade!! It's like a world of difference and the lag almost disappears.

THIS is the answer. I have an 06 SE, and the damn alarm would go off practically every night, my battery died and I replaced it, problem solved!

Does anyone know the difference of the clearance of the factory tow hitch for the v8 03-05 v 06-09? I am specifically asking for clearance reasons because I too want to size up and see if AT LEAST a 275/70/17 would fit in the factory spot? 06 SE v8 with towing here. EDIT: Good to know...

$50 > $175 and 6+ hours of labor. How much "trouble" do you think it is? Sounds like less trouble than 6 hours of labor. Why are people so opposed to this?
