One thing that I didn't realize until I started shopping for a 4runner... there are SO MANY 2 wheel drive runners. To each their own, I just never realized how hard it would be to find a v8 4x4 runner.

Never heard of this. I will look into it. I've driven over 1000 miles in the HailRunner in just 7 days. And those were light days. I haven't felt any vibration or rumbling at all.

NAILED IT! Just bought my 05 v8 4x4 SportEdition with 180k. I've driven it about 600 miles this week, and I am confident that the previous owners took great care of her. I am very happy with my purchase. I look forward to topping the highest mileage 4th gen in this thread.
