Hi guys, it's been quite a while, I'm still driving my runner, and yes its still 2wd. I gave up on the idea of the 2wd-4wd conversion (get the told-you-so's in now), and I should be beginning to build a v8 limited 4wd as soon as I have some money to throw at it.

Glad I didn't really put THAT much work in, getting a new truck not too far down the road. And I decided to start out with 4wd

I can't remember... How'd you set up your VSC off switch? The staple method? I can't get the damn thing to latch with the staples. Edit: Fixed the latching, now I'm wondering, to a solder the leads of my vsc mod on or get some sort of magical wiring harness from the Toyota wizards?

Yep. I'd just say go with the 5100, as you'll spend ~$20 more per shock. And if you do so decide to level/lift, you have the option.
