THIS. 1 12" in the right enclosure will most likely be louder then 2 12's in a poorly built enclosure. the 13w7 is a good sub, but it's overpriced and definitely not the loudest. I've heard great things about the FI Q. Oh and, don't get a capacitor, you're better off getting a 2nd battery.

Make sure you get a decent enclosure for that sub, it'll make or break the way it sounds.

When I bought my 06, I had the dealership install an alarm system, a few weeks after I purchased it I popped the hood to take a look at the engine bay, turns out the person working on my alarm left the wire stripper laying on top of the fuse box. I'm lucky it stayed where it was.

4th gen owner here. If we're speaking completely stock, I love how the 5th gen TE looks over any 4th gen. Too bad I can't afford it ._.

Personally, I'm a huge fan of Audioque. Great price, and great quality. AQ1200D Amplifier That will give you more power then you need, and if you ever want to upgrade your subs you'll have plenty of power to upgrade.

Do you have a Class D amp? Class D amplifiers interfere with an FM signal IIRC.

What's the volume of the enclosure for the sub?

Max Wattage means NOTHING, just ignore anything that says Max watts. You should definitely notice an increase in sound quality when upgrading from the stock HU. If your music sounds distorted, the speakers could blow, if it's not distorted, you're fine. Just be careful with your volume.
