Not sure how it will compare to KDSS as I did not have that, but I wanted the stiffer ride than stock as the stock suspension had too much body roll. I have had this lift with JBA UCAs for about two years and 35k miles with no issues.
That is the setup I have. I originally got Toytec lift but had to swap the front for OME to support the weight of the bumper/winch. Front is OME 3inch with med springs. rear is 2 inch toytec superflex springs with 5100 shocks.

ended up having to do the BMC. It rub on the body mount while going over bumps. I did it myself but bought the SRQ plates.

You might get away with the stock rims and skinny tires. I went with the wider tires and more offset.

Well so far so good. It rubbed a little so I took off the mud flaps and the rubbing on turns went away. However, it rubs when I turn and go over a bump, so I will be doing to BMC this weekend maybe. I still have to do a flex check to make sure everything is all good.

Just a quick question, is there any part of the vehicle close to rubbing even with flex?. So far I have a 3 inch front, 2 inch rear lift with JBA UCAs, Viper cut and running stock wheels...lol
My tires are finally wearing out and it is time to upgrade. I have a set of 17x9 wheels with 4.5...
I have had JBA UCAs for almost a year now (put over 15k miles on them) this has been on road and off road a lot handling all the trails in Sedona with ease. I also have a 3in OME lift up front and Toytec 2in lift in the rear. I grease the JBAs every oil change, (every 5k miles) and have not had...
Sounds like the material you are printing with or not the right temperature. I just found this post cause you posted and since I do some 3d printing, I will try and knock this out with PETG and see how it holds up.
I went this route a year or so ago. Although I know how to weld, I went with aluminum for the rust proof and did cutting and bolting (I don't have a spool gun....yet). But yours looks clean and very nice.

The install was pretty good. I may have scratched my plastic bumper a little putting back on but that was my fault. It is barely noticeable and I figured it gives it character (there are AZ pinstripes already on my 4runner so meh.... its part of the gig. The winch I had contained a bigger...
