    Victory 4x4 New Products/Prototyping

Do you guys want to see my rear bumper? I'm local to them and they used my truck as the test pig. It's just bare bones for now as I've got other projects to do the truck.

CRAPPOLA, broke a front bump stop bolt

I've pretty much done away with all the frame mounted threads at this point and use rivet nuts. You can get a tool and some stainless metric rivet nuts off Amazon for not a whole lot of money. You'll need a drill 3mm bigger than the bolt diameter. So if its a 8mm diameter bolt, you need an 11mm...

Spring for an oring kit as well. The rings are typically only single use

Favorite a/c condenser for our 4runners - Denso or TYC?

I'd opt for the denso unit. It will come with the receiver drier installed with no need to order it.

what else to replace during timing belt replacement

I've got the v6 but with something like a timing belt, things I would look at would be rad hoses, spark plugs, oil change, air filter, coolant drain and fill. Of course money is always the deciding factor here but that's what I would at least consider and do if needed.

Brake Job Didn’t Go As Expected

I'll probably be hung, drawn, and quartered for this, but I'm a huge fan of eliminating the parking brake. Living in the rust belt, it gets expensive real quick to start fixing parking brake cables and whatnot.

Dobinsons + JBA UCA + RAS Swap

Looks nice man! Most shops near me only do a toe set unless told otherwise. I found a shop about an hour from me that does alignments real old school with paint, scribes, and tape measures. I've exclusively used them for my alignments and have had no issues.

Options for awning on stock rack

I was looking for the same thing a few days ago and I saw a guy on classified selling a plastic mount that uses M6 bolts and nuts. I don't really wanna take a chance with it so I'm going to get u bolts that will fit my needs once I get my awning in.

    Dreaded Crank not start

If you've got all the pulleys off (cam and crank pulleys, and it looks like the seals are weeping, I'd replace em. Cheap insurance and you wont have to do em again. The way I like to pull seals is get two small diameter sheet metal screws, drill two small holes in the seal (be careful so when...

Low Side Port stud snapped off

you most likely won't be able to get that stud out with out replacing the line. If you do, hardware store with a decent bolt and nut selection should have the stud.

    Dreaded Crank not start

If your cam sensor is bad, you wouldn't get spark. Or at least you shouldn't. Earlier you mentioned the spark plugs were wet. To me, it really seems like the timing belt. It's getting spark, just at the wrong time. Also, be sure to change the oil before you fire it up once you do repairs. Last...

    Dreaded Crank not start

I don't know much about the V8's, but did you tear it down to the point where you could inspect the timing marks and see if they were aligned? To me, it sounds like something happened with the belt to throw timing off. FWIW, I had a subaru I did head gaksets and a timing belt on and on the...
