5 spd swap Is your 99 5spd a factory manual? If so would you be willing to post the last 8 of your vin so i can get correct parts? I would be very greatful. Robert.

I think i follow now. Is it the switch that activates when the clutch pedal is up? Any differences on wiring the 97 dash 3 pin? From what im seeing online is this switch called the pedal position switch?

Any advise how to wire it? And i may be alittle in the dark about both switches. I thought there is only 1 disengauge needed on the dash?? Sorry.

99 5spd manual swap I have a donor vehicle 1997 4runner for my 1st attempt to swap my 99 auto for a manual. I noticed that the clutch disengauge start switch is only a 3 pin connector vs the excellent wiring diagram in this post. Can anyone enlighten me as to any change on wiring? Greatly...
