    An update for me. The new ARB ECU worked great for me unless it's winter. I just extend the board and pull the fuse out for winter driving. Once it warms up they work fine with the new ECU.

    Sounds like you have an aftermarket remote start in there, generally it's pressing lock 3 times and wait. OEM remote start is Lock, Lock, hold lock for 3 seconds with all doors closed

    It only covers 2020+ 4Runner PTS On vehicles it does cover, the wiring will need to change and is more complicated. There is no T-Harness.

    Are you able to extend the running boards out at all? During the winter time I just extend them out then pull the 30a fuse out under the hood and keep them extended all winter.

    Lots a threads on this without cutting. I have a 2016 Limited with OEM flaps and auto running boards myself. Just need to loosen some screws underneath and slide the boards further back a few inches then re-tighten...

    You will be fine, unless the dealer wants to play shenanigans. Having an aftermarket remote start will have zero impact on programming a new remote. Aftermarket remote starts do not void warranties, search Moss Magnuson Act and aftermarket parts.

    The arm/Disarm beeps are a separate siren, when the alarm goes off or you set off panic that is the horn honking.

    Can you hold the panic button down on the remote and get the horn to go off?

    Look at the pin where the wires lead and make sure the is no black scoring going on, and the pins of the old relay. Small wire brush works best to scruff them up.
