I bet your salesperson was talking about rails not crossbars. I installed Whispbar S18 Through Bars on my 2018 T4R. There was absolutely no drilling involved. The hardest part was being patient when removing the plastic end caps on the rails so I didn't break them. I carry two 11'6" SUPs...

haha! that would make it easy. I strap down 2 SUPS on the roof with Thule straps but there is not enough horizontal space on the factory rack for the kayak which is why it is inside, hanging out the back window. I want the kayak up top but do not know if there are any aftermarket bars wide...
