I believe it is not a single stage if i remember correctly. It's also not a solid colour, its a metallic, just a bit harder to see.

None of the other colors are single stage for the 4runner. I paint at a Toyota bodyshop. Super white can be blended with base/clear and it should look perfectly fine if the painter is decent. Some of the older toyota solid colours are single stage. Mainly solid colours like red/black/white

If you decide to DIY, buy a clearcoat that is 2K(2 part) not 1K. They are available in cans, usually a bit harder to find. Something like this: Spray Max 2k High Gloss Clearcoat aerosol

or you can order a new OEM one from the dealer.

Stock rubber hoses will expand a bit when pressure is built. The stainless braided lines won't.

I have the blackvue Dr-650 1 channel(2 channel available more a bit more $$). It does everything you mentioned above. It doesn't only record during impact, it actually senses motion as well. For example, someone walks by your driveway at night, it will start recording.

If you guys want better results, find a bodyshop, have them prep the light and apply a dark tinted clearcoat. Each additional coat obviously makes it darker, so see how it looks after each coat.

Im in canada, we paid $44.5k out the door for a 2015 Limited with all the accessories. 11,000km on the odo. Big savings compared to new in my case.
