I want to put a 1uzfe V8 engine in my 2Gen. Right now I have the 3.0V6. I want to know if the 3.0V6 transmission will mate up to the 1uzfe V8. I like my manual tranny, and if I go with the 1uzfe V8, I will most likely have to go automatic. Not sure if I want to do that.

The fenders, hood, front bumper, head lights, pretty much the whole front end of the 2Gen are interchangeable with the pickup. What is key is that it has to be a part for the 4wd pickup. The rear bumpers are totally different, as are the tail lights.

Does anyone know where to get aftermarket euro style tail lights for a 2gen 4runner? I've looked everywhere, So now I'm wondering? Were any even made? I can find 3gen all day long.
