Same problem here with my 05 SR5, with 49k on it. I have it in now and they said that they will either need to replace the track or the entire seat. I called 1800 toyota customer service who opened a file, but I doubt, based on what I have read here, that anything will make any difference.

I went to Worst Buy this weekend to look for a direct-connect iPod solution. They had the iSimple by Peripheral Electronics. They get mixed reviews, but I figured I would save the receipt and see how it goes. Installed with no problems, I can control my iPod from the steering wheel controls...

I am leaning towards the Crutchfield adapter, but I dont know what is involved in removing the head unit. I have a JBL single disc factory stereo. Can anyone point me to a photo walk thru of removing the panels to get to the back of the unit?

SWEET! This looks like just the thing for my new Runner! I wanted the spoiler added to mine, but the dealer wanted 500 bux to do it. I figured there had to be a cheaper route, and it looks fairly straight forward. I just need to get my courage up to drill into my one week old Runner! Greg

Thanks for the input fellas. The SR5 is a V6 4WD model, in addition to the other options I listed above. I thought about trying to fly to Chicago and getting one, but then I have to buy a ticket, spend at least one night in a hotel, pay for gas, food, and put mileage on the 4Runner to get it...
