Does anybody have any restoration shop recommendations for 1st gen 4runner in the Seattle, WA area? Looking to get the rest of my 4runner done (interior, windshield weatherstripping, minor body work, some electrical fixes and upgrades). Tried Torfab but they don't touch anything other than LCs...

Congrats! They run great. I have a 22RE Stage 2.5 that runs beautifully. Have about 10K miles on mine so far.

For sale, 5 BFGoodrich KM2 size 285/70-17. Load range D. 4 have about 5k miles on them, 1 is new/unused. Minor scrapes/cuts on the 4 used ones from rock crawling, but no treads or chunks missing. Price $500 for all 5. Not looking to split them up at this time. Local pickup in Seattle, WA area...

Thanks guys, great places for me to start. I was thinking it could be a CV joint but haven't had the truck up in the air. Posted this as soon as the noise started to get some ideas. I'll start here and see what I'm able to find out. Thanks!!!

'85 1st Gen, 2.5" OME lift, high steer conversion, 33" tires, RCV front axle When driving at low speeds, less than ~10mph, when the wheel is pointed straight and then turn I slightly such as if I'm in traffic, there's a loud pop. Steering feels tight and accurate but the noise is disconcerting...
