My issue is now resolved! For the 2001 and manual ac, the ac amplifier is built into the HVAC control unit, it will not be found under/behind the glove department box! Swapped my unit out and my AC finally turned on, fully functional! I will update the other threads...

So… I’m assuming it’s not normal to be missing the amplifier from my 2001 Manual AC….I’d have to double check now, but I don’t think I saw the cable either

Ah so run a ground and negative wire from the battery and to the compressor clutch to jump start it? Sorry, this is a whole new world to me.

I'll get a multimeter tomorrow to run the tests, but can it even be tested if I'm unable to activate my AC at all? I think I might have to just try another hvac control unit, since I believe I've checked every AC related fuse/relay....so I shouldn't be having electrical issues with the unit...
