For those of us non-JBL owners looking for a space-saving and clean option while upgrading the sound system, looks like there's a newish (affordable) kid on the block.
2010-2024 Toyota 4Runner Compatible Single 10" Sealed Sub Box | Skar Audio
Anyone have experience with this particular setup...
I had convinced myself I was going to need new tires with the lift and was putting off the extra investment. The more I drive it and see it in the driveway the more I'm crushing on the "prerunner" stance as-is, super happy with the set up.
Only sat in the box for two years, but finally got the Eibach Stage 1 kit installed - stuck with the 1.8" up front/1" in the rear to level her out, and a set of Spydertrax spacers all around to flush the stock 265s with the fenders and fill out the gap until it's time for an upgrade. Perfect...
Great timing for this thread to find the front pages, thanks for sharing experiences and raw data on the AFE intake and tunes. The local-ish shop of the Overland Tailor Tuning network will be in town next month and plan to get my '21 set up. I'd read the AFE intake was the best butt dyno...
Asked my question and took off to visit family for the week. Appreciate all your inputs, glad to hear the spacer kit should be a reliable option - don't plan on pushing any limits either way. I've been expecting that any type of wider offset will need some mild trimming and/or adjustment to...
Looking to maintain the OEM Plus style and keeping the upgrades a little on the vanilla side (most I run is fire roads and backroads to canoe and camping trips), I'm set to bolt on the Spidertrax 1.25" spacers to my TRD Pro wheels to fill in the wheel wells on my Eibach stage 1 leveled setup...
Black Factory Roof Rails
Swapped the factory roof rails for a full length rack and have the blacked out rails from the infamous XP package. They were on the truck about 2 months, couple of small scuffs on the plastic end caps from storage, but the rails are in perfect shape. Also have the...
I'm about to get the Eibach version of this kit installed. I've only got 11k miles on my factory Nittos and want to run them into the ground before upgrading to something a little bigger. Anyone have experience running the SpyderTrax spacers at either the low .85" or 1.75" setting on stock...
Appreciate all the input! I took my supercharger fund and bought a W123 turbodiesel, so smaller upgrades are the move for the foreseeable future - even if I'm sacrificing the full power upgrade of the SC, daily improvements are a win. Leaning toward the Overland guys in Birmingham just due to...
Hey everyone, after spending its life cruising the Gulf Coast I finally road tripped northeast through the Smokies and Shenandoah and can fully appreciate the dreaded gear hunting at highway speeds. Sitting in cruise control at 75mph going up and down I-81 hills, this thing was flip-flopping...
Following for anyone who might have experience/feedback on a moderate tune. Can't validate $7k+ premium for a supercharger but overall improvement to drivability and daily driving is worth $600 for a baseline canned tune that can still run 87 or 89. No plans for bigger tires until stock Nittos...
Eibach Pro Lift Kit (5th Gen - 2010+) - Florida Panhandle
Hey everyone, plans have changed and decided to keep the lift plans a little more tame. I've got the complete Eibach Pro Lift Kit still wrapped up in the box and ready to roll - see below for the details.
Eibach Pro Lift Kit 5th Gen...
From other threads here on the forum, big fan of the Mothers VLR cleaner - made for synthetics like the Softex. 15 months+ with a couple of doggos and my seats still look brand new.
Also here in the Florida panhandle, I've had the RCI since I picked it up with a gangbusters Black Friday deal last year and haven't had any issues with the rain - no silicone added during install. Those Sherpa style blocks have been great for me.
I sure did not, and I had really only been looking at the RCI and TRD options other than the RRW skid - looks like both of those other skid plates don't require the removal of those brackets, so I hadn't even considered that feature when shopping. Hate the idea of removing something structural...
