If you have someone to weld for you, id go with $200 ebay diy kit. if you have a friend whos a regular mechanic with a welder.. that should do fine. I got lucky to buy mine at a scrap yard for $40 but had to shorten them by 20"... My only issue was me and my mechanic got drunk and welded them...
Otay Truck Trail
Otay truck trail is a good place to go with kids since its as easy as u want it to be with some moderate difficulty offshoots if you want. Amazing views of coastline, mexico and inland areas. Ton of CBP jeeps and trucks on the trail.
