I know I'm dense, but are you saying the key and transponder are working?

hids in 2006 Sport I did not do the squirrel finder mod and I have not had anyone flash me.

IIRC, if it has steering wheel controls than it is a Sport Edition or Limited, someone correct me on this if I'm wrong. Does it have the hood scoop? That is a good price if you are in So. Cal, IMO.

So has anyone actually gotten one of these keys to work, ie. the remote and key with immobilizer?

Nice! I like the price of the Kenwood. Post up the pics and sound quality when you get a chance.... My SE doesn't have the JBL either, so I'm very interested to see if there is any improvement in sound.

Just went to the LA Autoshow and went down to the aftermarket accessories section. Euro FX was there and they are selling their HID kits for $75 and no tax!!! The install only took about 20 minutes and it is plug and play, just make sure they include the H11 connector (I had to ask for it)...

Does the Kenwood also work with the steering wheel controls?

Man that looks good! Does the steering wheel controls work exactly like stock ie: mode changes frequency and the arrows change to preset... Oh and what happens to the AUX input in the center counsel?

Please be sure to post where you found it for $280. As for the TDI intake, where does it get air from? It looks nice but I personally prefer a molded plastic over a metal intake. Molded plastics like the TRD have a more OEM appearance plus molded plastics have a tendency to shed heat better...

lets see some pictures of the light output. Personally I'm on the fence on spending $50 on bulbs when I can get a HID Kit for $100 which will probably last longer. Although I would rather just plug bulbs in over installing a hid kit.
