Does your HID conversion kit have a wiring harness that powers them directly from the battery and using a relay from the headlight harness? If so, the relay could be bad, causing the circuit to remain closed instead of opening when you turn off your lights.

Great thread though, and I just couldn't help putting that joke above on the end! I just spoke with Steve at XenonDepot and have ordered the 9006 HID kit to put in the fog lights. If I am still not happy I will order HID Aux lights. If the existing fog lights work, I won't have to worry about...

I want my fog lights to automatically flash three times when I come up behind a vehicle going under 45mph. Of course, I want them to turn on when I think about it, and turn off if I don't think about it. Can anyone help me with the wiring? :biggrin2:

These say fog/driving. Does it just depend how you aim them? I am thinking of getting around all the controversy of HID lights in halogen assemblies by simply adding the HID Auxilliaries. I could them turn them on and off at will, and not affect the stock system. What do you think?
