Just as an FYI for 2.7L.... when I go through the Car Wash with the high pressure water jets i had the same problem. I would get water in the the #4 spark plug well. I would get the same thing you descirbed R1 Vern the rpm jumping. I would have to take the plug out and blow out the spark plug...
