I don't know about that...my old Tacoma embarrassed some nice cars in the twisties. Body roll can be controlled with spring rate, and also wider stance. I'm not going to long travel a 4runner, but maybe a mid travel setup would meet my needs. I dunno. Headed to the dealer to test drive one...

For those of you with mild builds, say Icon coilovers, 33's, armor, etc. Is all of this really needed? I'm trying to decide if it's worth ordering a pro/ '17 TRD Offroad and waiting or just buying an SR5 and building it. Would a non KDSS with decent aftermarket shocks be better than a KDSS...

My dealer just told me the order window for 17's isn't open until December, and the '16 order window is closed.
