I had a similar issue in my 2000 SR5 (4x2). When driving it would shake when I pressed on the gas pedal but as soon as I let off the vibrations stopped. I later found out it was the U-joints and had them replaced. It has been running great since.

Weird vibrations I recently was getting vibrations around 25, 35 and above 60 MPH. It goes away as soon as I let off the gas. Also when I would put it into Reverse from either park or drive it would clunk and lurch a little. I took it in and they replaced both u-joints, the rear u-joint was...
