    Rear Brake Caliper Rebuild

Yeah, I'm going to keep a closer eye on the pads this time and not rely as much on the squealer tabs to notify me of their wear

    Rear Brake Caliper Rebuild

AuSeeker - Mainly because they are 3-4x the price and the truck is 10 yrs old. But that's probably the best option. flyrv9 - Front rotors and pads were replaced last year. Rear rotors and pads about 2 years ago. Pads on drivers rear are about 3-4mm, so pretty much replacement time. I'm not sure...

    Rear Brake Caliper Rebuild

Anyone here have experience re-building a rear caliper on their 5th gen? I've looked around online a lot, but can't find any info on how to properly do this. Long story short, got home from a long trip and the inside pad on my rear passenger brake had worn down to the backing plate, which...

New Drawer System and Roof Rack offering from Yakima

Roof rack looks like a hybrid of an extruded aluminum but with a rhino style top. It's only rated for 30 more pounds of dynamic load over a sherpa, which requires no drilling. Can't see them selling a ton of these. Drawers do look interesting though

Meso Customs Dual color hatch lights

I didn't disconnect the battery either. Didn't cause me any issues with the install, which was super easy. Lights look and function great! Stoked to finally complete the set

    Oil Change Interval Poll

I was changing mine every 10k, but the oil seemed a little dark, so I've since switched to every 5-6k. Not a huge difference going to the shorter interval, but drive a good bit on forest service roads so figured it couldn't hurt. 125k on my '14

    Sherpa's New Affordable Rack System

Like the low profile of the sport. I've had the crestone for 2 years and love it. One of my favorite mods

    Front driver 285 70 17 reverse rub

I've got the same issue, only in reverse at full lock. Mud flaps have been removed and fender liner mod done. If you look closely at the body mount, you can probably tell if something has been rubbing against it. I can see mine has been rubbing slightly there, so time for a bmc or re-locate...

How hard would it be to install a low profile front bumper and winch

After looking at both hidden mounts, the SDHQ says it has recovery points integrated, but the budbuilt does not. But it's a good bit more $

How hard would it be to install a low profile front bumper and winch

Going with a lo pro bumper isn't just all about looks as they also usually include recovery points. If you go with the hidden winch mount, you'll also need to buy recovery points since T4R's don't have rated points from the factory. Install will probably be only slightly easier or the same...

    Brakes locking up

My truck has always done the same thing. I replaced pads and rotors F&R (due to normal wear) and serviced all calipers with Toyota grease/lube. Didn't change anything with the issue. Have also replaced 1 abs sensor that was damaged during lift install. Still does the same thing under the...

    Ironman 4x4 UCA Recall

Thought it was a little strange that they were out of stock of every UCA they make. Seems like they were using cheap ball joints

Toyota 4Runner 2010-2023 These guys have a ton of trim covers, but I think most are 3M stick on style
