I don't know about yanking out of a mud bog, but the manual talks about them as being usable for emergency towing. If you are worried about it I'd use both at the same time.

I finally upgraded to KO2's from the stock duelers. All black tires are apparently hard to capture on an overcast day, but I think they look pretty good. (Still just stock size).

Love the look of the Rago crossbeams. Have you had a chance to strap stuff down to it and use it as a rack? It is so close to the roof I worry about clearance issues strapping stuff down.

Is there a reason none of these come as a C rated tire? The size is interesting, but C options for any size tire seem few and far between. E seems overkill (rough ride for no real benefit) for a 4Runner, but often it is either P, E, or nothing.
