Maybe because it is probably just software. After a while it gets cumbersome to maintain multiple version of the software, simpler to just use the same. I was at a dealer yesterday, and he said that they were migrating Lexus features to Toyotas.

I had the same feeling when I went for a test ride. Jiggley ride. This was back in Jan 2006. I went back in April, still looking, and the new 2006 4runners had rear coil springs. The ride was much improved, the jiggle was gone. I wanted to test one with the air springs, but they didn't have one...
