Discount used a machine that does roadforce, but i'd be SHOCKED if they actually roadforced them for $9/each. They normally charge $25/each because of the extra labor involved.

Did you throw that in there just to irritate the other guy? :p What it comes down to is not every person will have a great experience with every tire every time. Find what works on your vehicle and meets your needs.

Agreed, but any reputable tire shop should know not to put a P rated on a 2500. Or should at least warn the customer about the potential issues and let the customer make their own decision.

Even the best tire isn't the best tire for EVERY application. The Terra Grapplers, especially in P-metric, are very soft, which is part of the reason they ride so smoothly for an AT tire, but they are prone to wearing quickly too. This can be minimized with regular rotations and modifications...

Put them on my 4th Gen about a month ago. Took of BFG Long Trail Tours which I was very happy with, and was surpised that the Terra Grapplers aren't that much louder. They ride great too (along with my FJ springs and Bilstein 5100s).

If the light is blinking then it's an issue with the system, most likely a dead sensor. Some tire shops (Discount/America's Tire for example) can replace it for a lot less than the dealer.

It would fit the wheel, but they don't make a 275 on the 17" wheel. You have to do 265 70 17 or jump up to a 285

Cupping is not likely alignment. Inside edge wear would be more indicitive of alignment. Cupping is typically worn shocks and/or infrequent rotations. Tires only have 5k on them, so I would lean towards the shocks. So I'll second the previous question of how old are the shocks?

Look at the Level 8 Strike, also in matte black, 17x9 in either a 0 or 12 (iirc..). My buddy put them on his Jeep and they look pretty good. The 9" wheel is fine for the 285s, and you can talk to the guys at Discount to see which offset will give you the look you want.

I've been told the TKO's are coming out in a 17*8.5 -6 offset in April-ish. That's why I asked about the spacers before. I was trying to figure out how you fit 285s on a +25 offset 8.5 wheel.

No spacers? That's good to know. With the +25 offset I'm surprised the 285s fit ok. But hey, answers a question I had. Now, do I go 265 or 285 myself....decisions, decisions.

Good wheel choice. I'm actually wanting to put those on mine as well. That wheel looks so much better without the center cap. MB has some decent wheels, but their caps are almost universally ugly. At least that's my unsolicited opinion. You're running wheel spacers, right?

Actuator is bad. Ive had to replace both drvier and passenger fronts. Part was like 180 from partznet. Not terribly difficult to install, if you want yo do it yourself.
