Purchased in January 2018 but only used for maybe 3,000 Miles of STREET driving. 4Runner hasn’t been on...
My buddy and are are too! We emailed each other the news at the same exact time.
Anyone test it out yet? How much of the functionality comes over?
Then the most important question, if its awesome, whats the best way to get Carplay into a 5gen? My friend has it in his 100series LC. He...
Not sure I would need for the 4R but see a great application for my pickup truck. 37" tire won't fit in stock location so it takes up half the bed. Then with the RTT on I can't fit a bike and still carry all the gear. This would let me put the spare off the back and carry a bike too.
Thanks ja for the KO2 noise comparison. That was one of the options on the table. Though the TG would have been much more noise. Glad to hear it’s not.
Own a G1 Raptor and a 5G 4R. Have to say the Gen 1 Raptor quality has been good especially as much as people abuse them down in Baja. Gen 2 Motors have been really hit and miss.
IMO for the mass market a Bronco that simply does well on light rocks ans graded road should have much success...
RG Consensus Good for Dry?
Hello all. Great info here. I am trying to help my buddy decide what to go to next. My 4R has P rated Toyo AT II and pretty happy with them. Can't say I've really had them in the dirt almost at all though. My buddy with a 100 Series wants to go from a vanilla tire...

For high speed desert racers they are standard practice. But that’s big ponies and big abuse.
For...
Oh I’m jealous. Local dealer had a used cement it’s under 8k miles. But they wanted 53k. I’d save so much getting an 18 that I could build a really capable rig. Couldn’t justify the price to myself but will always dream of that sweet cement.
I wish I could own both. I did a lot of research before making my final decision (2018 4runner Off Road Prem). The 2013 LC200 is a machine that’s hard to beat. The thing is built amazing. Luxury and space are a bonus. One would expect reliability close to what the 100 series gives [300k+ miles)...
I’m just about to tak possession of my first 4R. I noticed the power during my test drive. Originally was going to buy a 100 series LC but it felt really sluggish. Having spent a lot of time behind the 6.2L Raptor I can say that it’s a world of diff. Have yet to drive the new version but I can...
