Thanks to everyone for their contributions. Just replaced my latch & took me a grand total of 25 min from start to finish. I went with the latch on Amazon Prime for $168. Feels great not to give the dealership my money!

My local dealer told me 3-4 months. Like mentioned by someone before, I'm not paying for it so I'm willing to wait a bit. Shoot, have waited years before Toyota agreed to replace the darn things.

I was at my local dealership a few weeks ago, and they tell me they don't have any of the parts yet. Is that what most are experiencing now? Would like to know if it's just my dealership.

Replacing springs is not required. I drive mine on the road 99% of the time, and didn't wan a lift either...just something comparable to the stock XREAS. Simply buy the shocks online & install, or bring to a shop for installation. It's really that simple. Best of luck. Let us know what you went...

I've used a Thule carrier since 2005 & no issues whatsoever & I would load the crap out of it. It easily made the trip from Colorado to California, then to Maryland. I probably just jinxed myself now.

Make sure to check the fade as well. Also, ensure the PAC adapter's gain is set to at least 50%. I actually had to increase mine to 75% to get the volume up.
