Do you even need to mount it to the Metra dash kit? I just mounted it with just the OEM brackets to the dash and it seems to be just fine. The only drawback to that I can think of is if I want to remove the dash kit I have to take the display off the unit first. Anything else I’m missing?
I was looking at getting the Alpine Halo for my Limited as well. I was curious, does the bottom of the display get in the way or block the view of the digital climate temp display?
