    Autorust Safe t-cap system

I didn’t take the frame off the truck! All repairs were done in place. If I was going to take the frame off, I would have bought a completely new one, instead of repairing because of how much work to remove it.

    Autorust Safe t-cap system

Thanks for posting about the class action! I haven’t been on this site since last spring because I was in the middle of a major move so I guess I missed any discussion about it! Just signed up today.

Help please! Brake line failure/electrical issues?

Update… issues all resolved Sorry for the delay. It’s been fixed for a bit, but I got busy and forgot to update the thread. Anyway, ended up changing out the broken right rear line which had a pinhole right where the bend is going into the union connector to the caliper flex line. The main part...

Help please! Brake line failure/electrical issues?

Yeah, hopefully it’s not the alternator. Battery isn’t that old, maybe 3 years or so. From what I remember reading on here, the alternator is a bear to change.

Help please! Brake line failure/electrical issues?

That’s good to know you were able to drive home for that much distance without any issues! The main difference in my instance was that it was a rear line, and from my understanding (may be wrong), the rear brakes are pressurized by the electric pump on the master cylinder on our vehicles, which...

Help please! Brake line failure/electrical issues?

Thanks guys, that was my thought process as well with it not being related, but it definitely struck me as weird going from having no issues for a very long time, and even driving down the coast for more than 1200 miles towing a heavily loaded trailer, to suddenly have this stuff ALL occur...

Help please! Brake line failure/electrical issues?

Hopefully this is something that someone else has seen before and it’s an easy fix! Several days ago I was only a few miles from my house going to drop cardboard at a recycling box when out of the blue, the loud beeping started, VSC/Trac lights, and others came on. I knew this indicated a brake...

    Aftermarket wheel bearing?

Rin Nope, I found that out as well because the one on my driver’s side is in bad shape. Passenger had been replaced before I bought it. I’ve had the new shield hanging in my garage waiting for whenever I do my front bearings. Not sure if they still have them, but a year or 2 ago NAPA listed Koyo...

New fine-grained VSC OFF Mod for V6 1GR

Not sure if Kliv is still selling these, but if anyone is interested, I have had one for about a year now that I still haven’t installed due to other priorities, and would consider selling. I also have a brand new factory Toyota FJ switch along with the connector plug and the factory pigtail...

    Radio Upgrades... Let see them.

Nope, I installed one (AX5000) earlier this year, after being sold on the the Sony CarPlay stereos from having installed and used the AX1000 in my daughter’s Camry. The AX5000 is just a bit better in every way. Bigger screen that’s also capacitive, rear USB input for a cleaner look, etc. I love...

    Leaking Power Steering Fluid

That seems like a very fair price. I’d pay that in a heartbeat not to have to mess with it! Old, rusted lines can be a real bear to deal with, especially when the fittings are rusted together. Sometimes the wrong fitting shears off, and you have to replace a part you didn’t intend to!
