That sucks to see this. We were considering this ladder but I think we'll pass at this point. I apologize if this has already been answered in this thread but is there a way to attach the BajaRack Ladder to the ecotechne roof rack? We love our rack but looking at alternative ladders. :juggle:

Yes my wife and I have mounted a Tepui RTT and used it many times already. We did have to the flip the rails over to be able to secure the bolts, but I am in the process this weekend of coming up with a new setup so the tent can sit more flush with the rack.

This is what I was going to reference as well to spec 's question. It will run you around $51.xx if you order just a little more than what you need. 30 bolts, 30 nuts and 60 washers.

Having the same problems with rust on the bolts as well. One trip down to the coast camping on the beach and already developing rust. Had planned up front to replace the hardware it came with, with black bolts so will be doing that this weekend. Just didn't think it would rust this quickly.

Instructions mention to use waterproof silicone. I applied this at all 4 corners under the mounts before installing.
