That chicken rock vid is balls out out the most hardcore thing I’ve ever seen. The day i was going to drive it there was a Jeep roll over. Trail blocked with Jeeps, CHP SAR helicopter flying around. Never made it.

we went with the nautical blue. my wife didn't want white because we work for the federal government and white looks like a government vehicle. now, we live in vegas and just had a 79 degree day for late winter, and the blue was super hot to touch. Im not looking forward to touching the blue...

I'm pretty much on the same page as you. Haven't done it, but still debating. There is already plenty on this forum about plasti dip. Just search it. If done right it looks good, and if done with plenty of coats it is more durable and comes off easier. If you do it, post pics.

I wished I had seen this thread two weeks ago. I did lots of Research and made lots of calls and visited parts depts at two dealerships to figure out what all these posts could have told me. Should have started here first. It all started because I ordered the "KH Rigid" from the dealership...

Thanks. It was a little overcast and pic looks dark. It's the Nautical blue. But anything in the Vegas heat gets hot. I was set on the Trail Premium, but realized I didn't want the black leather, so had to search out a Trail with just the right options.

I had to get rid of the Tacoma for something that could take child seats. So here I am. I knew I was going with a brand new 4r, it was just a matter of finding the right options. If anyone in the Vegas area knows which shops to get work done and which shops to avoid, let me know.
