More Testing done. I finally got some more testing done. The drag/scrape sound in the video was indeed from the parking brake. I used the stethoscope to try and test and couldn't tell for sure. But I also just pulled the rotor and the sound was not there when spinning with the rotor off...

I did the foot on brake + throttle testing. It seemed to move only slightly more then the movement that happens when it's put in drive/reverse. No shake or bounce, it's more that it wants to move but can't. Soooo, I think I'm good.

I'm not sure how to turn the feature off, but I am curios as to why you want to. Doesn't the recirc help cool the car, or help keep cool, when the AC is on? And if the AC is off but windows are down, why would the recirc be an issue? Unless on a hot day, you prefer to be in the car with the AC...

Sounds like you've got the right idea. I haven't work with the parking brake adjustment in some time, but I think part of the goal was to adjust the cable so that the pedal as a certain number of 'Clicks' before it's locked down (might be 5?)

Still got mine I used a sander to thin mine a little, and then used a heat gun and re-shapped them so that the bottom edge is further back.

check you brake pads I had this issue on the passenger side for a couple years. turns out is was from the brake pads sliding up or down in the caliber just a bit. I added a second one of those springs to hold the pad back and that took care of it.

It was indeed the tensioner Had the tensioner replaced and that took care of it. For anyone that might have this problem show up, take the time to watch closely if your tensioner is moving at all. I would have IDed this faster if I had.
