Hi Guys- long time 4 runner owner here considering Land Cruiser. I currently drive a 1998 4 runner (205k on it and it's been great, but a lot of little things are starting to pile up (small hole in frame, 4w actuator- still works when I switch the vacuum lines, cracked windshield, bad muffler)...

I just changed the coolant, I looked inside the radiator and it looked as clean as could be. The outside is clean as well.

Thanks. My thermostat is brand new and OEM. Although I did not blast my AC condenser or my Radiator, they both look clean. I can see right through the condenser.

I just bought the temp gun last night, no readings yet. I'll report back on this. My radiator cap is from Toyota, I gave them my VIN and they gave me the cap so a assume it is the correct one, also brand new.

When I bought my 98 t4r 3 years ago it only came with one key. I had keys made, but they did not work. If you looked at the old key from the side, I'd be willing to bet that it was bent or more specifically, twisted. I'd bet the new keys are straight- and therefore, not working. -am
