Is that a planted seat bracket or one you made? Do you have more pictures? Curious if it has any effect on seat height over the stock brackets

Did you have the coil oriented correctly in the strut assembly? FSM says the end of the coil at the spring perch should be parallel with the tire. Sounds like you may have it figured out

Picked up a set of front and rears off a 2018 for $40. How do you like the ride? Rear springs are going in with 5100s this weekend. Fronts maybe next weekend. Would have got both but broke a rear lower shock bolt in the process....
I had a similar issue but had severely worn tires. New tires helped solve 80% of the issue then I went after the steering column. Did the tack weld fix (I used JB weld) and plastic shim in the universal joint and it drives like a new truck.
