    Steering Wheel Pealing?

6-12 hours!?!? My leather (limited) steering wheel is losing the color up on the upper portion. Like it was rubbed off somehow. I'd like to get it fixed but not sure how. Until then I just stare at it everyday...

    My $45 Door Seal Mod

OK finally got around to driving more and here is my final verdict. 45-65mph this mod coupled with the sound proofing in my doors is amazing! Above 65-85 it's improved but not as noticeable since I run 275/70/17 BFGs in E load, light bar on a gobi rack, 3" lift in front, and have a moon roof...

    My $45 Door Seal Mod

Did the doors in ~30-40 minutes today. Didn't do the rear hatch seal as I'm not too happy with cutting the complete circle, fearing moisture would get in somehow into where I cut it up. Given I already sound deadened my doors and floor this did help with the wind noise when you're cruising...

    My $45 Door Seal Mod

Ordered mine and will do it this week. I already have my entire doors and interior lined with dynamat too and am getting majority of my road noise through the door seals I think. Will post updates when I'm done!

Full lift kit for Limited 5th gen

When I did mine, I had all 4's off the ground. I guess you could systematically do fronts then backs. Just might require a little more coordination when taking off the XREAS.

Full lift kit for Limited 5th gen

And if you don't take it apart gracefully, just get some cheap towels from Walmart to put down for when the fluid comes out then toss em. I got irritated one 2 joints and went to town to rip em out. :hurt:

Full lift kit for Limited 5th gen

If you're good with tools and your kit has springs already installed (coil overs) then I'd say do it yourself. Removing XREAS isn't bad but it can get messy if you end up saying screw it and cutting some pieces out. Took me ~6 hours solo to take out XREAS, do fronts with new UCAs, and rears...

Go King all the way around on your limited. OME from experience will be much more stiff than your stock ride unless that's what you're going for??

Questions on KING coilovers for a LIMITED

Been running mine for ~2.5 years. Love it and glad I went King. Installed myself, let me know if you have any questions. Taking out XREAS is messy if you manhandle it.

    Trading 4runner for a Raptor

A good friend of mine had a brand new fully loaded raptor, every option possible. Transmission blew apart with 8k miles on it. Ford fixed it and then gave him the 5 year extended warranty for the troubles. Fast forward to 11k miles we take it from Austin, TX to Colorado for our 2018 elk hunt...

Rear Seat Bolt Stripped - HELP

I've never re-threaded a bolt before and I really don't want to screw this up. I might take you up on that.

Rear Seat Bolt Stripped - HELP

Hi All, Long story short but after removing all of my interior and putting my rear seats back in, I switched some of the bolts and ended up stripping/cross threading one pretty good when I was bolting it back. I'm pretty sure there are 2 different sizes for those bolts back there and I forced...
