4x4 problem i had the same problem on my 94. theres an a.d.d. indicator switch on the font differential its a white connector. u can unplug it and use a paper clip to jump the terminals on the plug, that worked for mine, or u might have a vacuum issue to the actuator on the front diff.

i have a 1994 4runner, it seems to be in 4 low without the front hubs locked or shifter in 4wheel drive. only when u start the car cold, but will disengage after warm up. anyone have any problem like this??

depends on the state u live in, im an emissons inspector and as long as u have the required parts on u should be fine, as for performance and driveability, it shouldnt have a negative effect, i think it only has one o2 sensor anyways. but if ur not required to smog pull it all off cat, egr, air...
