It appears that the metal piece where you can hold down the crankshaft separated from the pulley, you are going to have source a new damper, i dont recommend getting a used one.

If im not mistaken the top hat has rubber boot at the bottom...can someone confirm this.

It better to ask then lose your head for a days trying to figure it out

You can keep turning it but it will get stiff the shaft and lower joint it separate from the upper mount but the tension of the spring makes it act as one unit.

use a prybar or a long bolt thru the eyebolt and turn the joint to fit in the mount

With the XREAS there is no electronic system that goes with it, the entire system is analog like wingman707 stated, I've removed these system before and never modified anything with the electical system
