Just took my ‘99 Limited in for a service. 280k on the odometer. Runs like a brand new car. But the upholstery needs to be replaced. Really the only part of the car showing wear are the front seats.

I had a Yakima fairing with super soft foamy pads on the fairing. Those super soft foamy pads wore through the paint. If I were to install a fairing which touches the paint, I would install a strip of clear-bra on the paint under the fairing. Or at least some clear vinyl stickers.

The Atkinson Cycle is what kills the 3.5 Taco. Without it it’s a good engine.

Why not Toyota sensors? Why not buy genuine Toyota sensors? You know they will fit and last a long time.

I bought my '99 Limited in 2004. It had 56,000. Today it has 227,000. Here's the cool part: I have NEVER replaced any of the brakes. Went in for service at 225,000 and front pads still had 3mm. Drives like a brand new truck. My mechanic can't believe it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
