Last time I had this happen I slipped a tooth on the timing belt. Super hard to diagnose. So few people will give the right diagnosis. I spent forever chasing that one. Buy me a beer if I’m right….

Old school mechanics use gasket cinch or belt dressing. Not too much different than rubber cement. It helps resolve a belt that has been glazed.

A huge shout out to @ aplhyn for the sticker file. It worked great and the CA smog ref signed off on my 2000 T4R that I picked up in Colorado. I had a bunch of these beauties printed up and now I have a stack left over. If you need some just PM me. I can send or meet in the Sacramento...

Thanks for the info. I pulled one from the JY hoping it would work to jo avail. Then just went over all the solder joints on the back with a soldering iron and now I have a working one and an extra. Anybody need a clock in the Sac, CA area? Just PM me
