You're right. The screenshot I posted is about the FJ Cruiser replacement, not the 4Runner. I apologize for the confusion regarding the planned volume numbers and production start date.

I am convinced that the LC250 will cannibalise 4Runner sales. The upcoming FJ Cruiser type will eat some too, especially if there’s an ICE version. Still, Toyota predicts that the new 4Runner will sell best in its first model year despite a late production start scheduled for January.

You are right. The front legroom is indeed fairly average on the GX550. I should’ve been more precise that it’s the second row’s legroom that pleasantly surprised me. And as my wife and I are both quite tall, every inch of head and legroom is crucial for us.
