Door cylinder locks jammed by thieves

I'd imagine that you could just use one without the key cutout on the drivers side, they all look to be the same dimensions but I can't say for certain whether that's the case or not.

Door cylinder locks jammed by thieves

These peel and stick plastic covers that go over the key portion could do the trick, certainly not fool proof and easily removed but might confuse thieves enough that they don't try to remove it and stick a screwdriver in. They are pretty cheap and you'd probably have to paint or wrap them to...

    Roof Maintenance

I have a gobi rack on my 4Runner, definitely difficult to clean since I can't get my hand under it. I waxed and polished the roof before putting the rack on and have been using a flat microfiber mop to clean the roof, which has been good so far and hasn't scratched the paint. (The mop I've been...

Deal is dead (Case of 10 OEM Oil Filter Elememts only $8.99 today on Amazon)

The filters I received look exactly like what MOCO4 has posted except the box I got was beat up and torn, below are my photos in comparison to a filter I had on hand that I purchased from my local dealership around 2.5 years ago. Long story short, the only difference was that the Amazon filters...

Looks like the deal is still available, just need to click the link that says "New (11) from $8.99 Prime FREE Delivery". I've placed an order for a case and have a filter I bought from my local dealership to compare with.

    Going through firewall...

Not sure if you already cut the little nipple and ran wires through that or if you're talking about a different grommet. I made a video a few months back about how I ran a pair of 8 gauge wires through the nipple on the main grommet on the passenger side (drivers side is the same), the end shows...

    Anyone mounted a 2nd battery underneath 4runner

I can't really speak to putting a battery under the truck, but I do know several companies have made dual battery trays for different spots in the engine bay, have you already filled the spaces on the passenger side? There are trays that allow you to put a battery in the front or back of the...

Post pics of your drawer/storage system

Built my drawers a few years ago after getting lots of ideas from this and other forums. I wanted to keep the functionality of my sliding cargo tray and leave space for my fridge. I put the drawer on the 60% side of the folding down seats and also built 2 removable pieces with fold down legs...

    Onboard fridges

I bought the truckfridge tb-41a which looks similar to the one linked in the original post, except smaller since mine is 41quart vs the 55. I also have a sliding rear cargo deck and to secure the fridge I drilled one hole in the rear of the tray and installed a D-ring, I secured the front of...

2016 Trail Premium Radio/Navi Display Problems

I had a similar issue and it turned out to be a loose connection to the battery terminal, check there first. FYI- you can update the Entune software yourself, I tried that as a fix when I was troubleshooting.

Solo road trip, East Coast to West Coast. Looking for ideas/cool things to do

MeefZah, I ended up in Ukiah and headed south just before daybreak. Sunrise here is beautiful. Just got to the gym and I am a bit south of Santa Clara. Thinking about spending the day in San Francisco, but still undecided

Solo road trip, East Coast to West Coast. Looking for ideas/cool things to do

MeefZah I just finished a quick workout at the planet fitness in Bayshore mall in Eureka! About to head south on the 101. Redwoods is incredible, went on a hike with a park ranger yesterday and drove south, camped in Elk Prairie, got a hike in those morning before I started the drive further...

Solo road trip, East Coast to West Coast. Looking for ideas/cool things to do

cccolin, heading over to Redwoods NP later today then see as much of California as I can, Utah is expected to warm up a bit by next week so I was thinking of taking a small detour up there before following the warm weather in the South as I make my way east on the way back home

Solo road trip, East Coast to West Coast. Looking for ideas/cool things to do

GX4SEVEND the windy weather down here had me a bit worried. Decided to head down the 99w from Portland, it was a beautiful drive. Stopped in Roseburg for the night, the air is starting to get hazy/smokey, but what a sunset. Many roads have already been closed at Crater Lake, I'm about 2 hours...
