    5th Gen Supercharger Inquiry - Magnuson's Response

Yes, I know this top has been beaten to death, but I just wanted to share. Tim Clifton <[email protected]> May 9, 2017, 3:44 PMYou;[email protected] Hi, We are working on the kit. We don’t have a lead time, if you go to our website and sign up for newsletter you can...

    awnings

First time out with the Rhino Rack Sunseeker II before the lift kit went on. I went with Rhino Rack because I'm not a fan of of ARB. Don't get me wrong, ARB will get the job done, but I liked how the Rhino Rack one looked on the aero crossbars and it was a pretty painless install.

Anyone gone with an Old Man Emu OME lift?

I've been monitoring the tire pressure and wear. At 35PSI, the tire wears down the middle too much. At 30PSI, there isn't enough sidewall support for normal everyday cornering. I found that 34 Front and 32 Rear is a near perfect balance for my configuration. I've been checking the...

No air locker for me. It's going to be E-locker or bust. And I know I missed out on KDSS by not going up to the Trail. But so far, the SR5 is holding it's own.

Anyone gone with an Old Man Emu OME lift?

After a few weeks, I finally figured out why they were so stiff. The idiots that installed my lift kit left the tire pressure in all my tires at 50PSI. I brought them back down to 34psi in the front and 32psi in the rear. It's just a tad stiffer than I would like but holy cow what a...

I'm running LT285/65R18 Toyo Open Country R/T's and they are super quiet compared to any other brand aggressive tread tire. There is a little hum at highway speeds but you really have to listen for it. Throw some jams on the radio and you just hear your music. There's no trying to listen to...

That's a possibility. Dunno how cost-effective that would be versus just getting the factory setup. I was just thinking that it would be a nice excuse to get a new toy. :naughty:

SR5 With OME Lift When the day comes that I need to upgrade to LSD and Lockers, this baby might get traded in. For now, an SR5 is all I need.

No power to Trunk AC 120V 400W socekt

What did you plug into it before it stopped working? Is there any chance you blew the fuse? There's probably a fuse in the block and then a fuse in the inverter as well. Find the power input to the inverter and verify good in, bad out, and there you have your problem.

What trailer hitch Bike Rack are you using

I use a Yakima Fullswing. No vibration. No shaking. No rattling. Easy on, easy off. Built-in self-retracting bike chain and hitch mount security key disengages the tightening knob so that no one can loosen your hitch from your receiver and walk away with it. $350-$400 new.

Anyone gone with an Old Man Emu OME lift?

The springs have softened a lot in the past week. I'm starting to like them more now. I hit some uneven pavement on the highway and it absorbed the bumps pretty well. You can definitely tell that the shocks/struts on are doing their job. If the springs will just soften up some more, it...

    Use H4 in heavy rain?

The 4Runner is a heavy beast. I tried to make it hydroplane at 75-80MPH hitting all the puddles I could. No slippage, no surprises. It stayed glued to the road. Now, if ran into a puddle 6inches high or more, I probably wouldn't be going 75-80MPH in the first place, but it might hydro...
