Stock wheels and tire or larger / heavier ones? I had FJ Cruiser Steelies and 285 BFG's on mine and the brakes developed a squeal. I switched to a less aggressive thread and aluminum wheels and it went away....

That rig is really clean, good luck with the sale. Out here in AZ the prices are a bit lower for 2wd, but in FL the market might be a little stronger!

How did you check it? Did you replace it or just check the spring tension? I had a similar problem and it turned out to be the gas cap after all, even though the tension 'felt' ok..... It could be a really cheap fix, good luck!

What did I do with my 4Runner today? I got annoyed that my front diff is leaking. So much for any plans that I had for Saturday, now I will be elbow deep in taking that axle out!! Luckily I have the seal b/c I keep an spare CV as a backup! Who knows how long it has been leaking, those...

I had that exact kit on my Runner at the beginning. I didn't pay that price thought... I got it off CL but it was brand new. Anyway, like stated about I did not go with the diff drop since the CV angle isn't too bad with 3" in the front. Plus with the diff drop I don't think that you can get...

TE's are like the sasquatch or the Lock Nes Monster (sp?) some say they are out there, but I have never seen one....!! Did your Taco have ATRAC? IMO ATRAC is extremely capable in these rigs. I've gone everywhere with no locker that the local Taco guys are going. I guess what I am trying to say...

I am looking to go back to a factory bumper on my Runner and I lost all the brackets and hardware. I probably threw it out by mistake at some point... doh... I need the brackets and hardware. Anyone out there that has gone with an aftermarket rear bumper and looking to sell, please let me know...

I think that rubbing will be an issue even if you change the backspacing or add spacers. Fender / Liner / mudflap trimming will be required to avoid rubbing but it is easy to do. The bigger issue is; the tire contacting the UCA, which 285's will do. Changing the backspacing or adding spacers...

Rescue Tape!! It sounds too easy to be true, but trust me, don't spend the time removing the axles until you really need to. The Toyota axles are better than the cheap aftermarket ones (in my opinion) and unless you have been leaking / weaping for a LONG time, there is still plenty of factory...

If the OP is not interested in the hitch, I might be for sure!!
