hopefully just a little belt help on Thanksgiving

It took all this time to figure it out but it turned out that the pulley for the power steering belt (that is behind the fan clutch)--must have been dropped when I had the dealer do the timing belt because it had a nice irregularity that wasn't allowing the belt to sit correctly. Nice that I...

    Shopping for an 01' Lift

Just installed trd coils and 906's with bilstein 5100's and I wouldn't want to do it twice, so I'd replace the shocks while you're in there. Also I'm pretty sure stock shocks are not going to fit with those springs.

You should replace your ball joints...

Changed this out the other day. Unknown mileage on lbj--truck has 217,000 miles. Had been like this since this winter. Joint moves smooth still and the other side's boot was still good but I'll sleep better with them changed out. mtbtim thanks for your video.

What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Took the pictures today. Over the last few days installed new oem lbj's with new bolts, brembro rotors with stock pads, outer tie rod, ome 906's, tundra trd coils, and tundra Bilstein 5100's all around. Never done anything like this before. Had Wheeler's Offroad assemble the struts, so I didn't...

    Lifted + LBJ life

The best prices I've seen are Boch Toyota (southern Mass.) online parts but you have to pay shipping.

    Another bilstiens question

The less expensive one is the tacoma shock with three adjustment points and the other is the tundra shock with 5 adjustment points.

    Ome 890 with 5100 problem?

Has it always been like this with the lift? Most seem to be using the tundra 5100 for a rear shock (have some ordered from Wheeler's). In my research I didn't read much about tacoma 5100's. Could that be the problem?

    Decisions, Decisions, Decisions.

Similar needs. Almost ready to go with the Speedy lift--trd front coils, 906's, 5100 bilstiens for a tundra. Seems like a great DD set up with better than stock Off-road without going too high. Might add trim packers to the rear.

    Bilstein 5100 with OME 906

Also, I noticed that the right sits 1/2 inch higher on the right than the left, even unloaded with an empty tank Just for clarification is it the drivers side or the passenger side that is higher?

    Rocker replacement? WolfSteel

Had same trouble with my previous 1998--ended up buying rocker panels from a tacoma and used them
