What size are the tires? If you went from p to lt type tires, it will drop your mpg that much due to weight and rolling resistance

I changed the plugs on my gx470 and afterward it had an occasional stumble.It ran fine prior to the swap. I took it to the shop and they found a coil pack had gone bad. I hope this helps.

I have owned a gx470 for 5 years and have run both 87 and 93 at diff times. The 93 gets better mileage by 2 miles to the gallon (20mpg compared to 18 with 87 octane- highway mileage.) I have never heard it ping or knock with the lower octane. The shop that works on my truck says it will run...

Brakes may freeze up? Well I guess the motor is about to blow and the tires are about to disenegrate as well. Be careful next time you hit the brakes the body mounts might brake and off you go.

I took all that stuff off my gx because it was a pain to work around, but it just bolts on by several small brackets. The main grey plastic cover should be easy to install.
