The problem with checking is as soon as i crank it up if i let off the gas the engine dies. it will only run if i keep my foot on the throttle.. Could this be something else besides alternator????

That was my first thought but when i go to put it into gear it shuts off.....

ok guys i have a 2004 4runner limited 4x4 with the daystar 2.5/1.5 spacer lift and was wanting to lift the front alittle more with wheelersoffroad top plate spacers what will give me closer to 3 inches 1/2, 1/4 or the 3/8's inch. new to lifting so not alot of knowledge about the products.

ok i might be beating a dead dog here but im stressed out about this the gas tank door release cable has come undone from the latch under the steering wheel i have looked and looked and cant find out how to put the cable with the peg back on the latch... ive seen a picture of it done but not...
